About the Role:
As a Transport Engineer – Programme and Asset Management you will assist with the development of forward works programmes, asset management planning for the local road network and the management of infrastructure service delivery. If you are a Transport Engineer with a background in asset or contract management , have developed experience with local statutory requirements, codes and best practice as well as a track record working to a PM framework this opportunity is not to be missed! This is a permanent position paying a salary of $110 K to $120 K for suitable skills and experience.
Road Asset Management Planning: Strategically plan for the effective management and maintenance of road assetsForward Works Planning: Forecast, plan and investigate new projects or transport improvementsContract/Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project execution from initiation to completion and assist with the PM of transport capital projectsSkills & Experience: Tertiary qualified in Civil or Transportation Engineering5 years + experience in transport engineering, asset or contract managementSolid road safety engineering experienceUnderstanding of Asset Management Planning and PrinciplesWorking knowledge of Local Government requirements for roading projectsExperience with Waka Kotahi NZTA Crash Analysis SystemProficient with the development of transportation engineering projectsA current NZ Driving LicenceAbout the Region:
