Working smarter and proactively though the use of data analytics and automation Building digital twins of the roadway infrastructure to bring the data, computing, visualization together Modernize the applications Core responsibilities Gain broad understanding of the VDOT innovation framework Use the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGIS Follow all applicable industry and VDOT standards, processes and Protocols Engage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needs manage stakeholder communications and expectations KSA: Process mapping experience, Code Documentation, Writing use-cases, using architectural artifacts Excellent written and oral communication Customer focused collaboration Ability to travel around the state as needed Minimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team Experience: Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C#, C++, Java Minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse. (Hard Requirement) Minimum of 5 years experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.
