Allied Health Professional and Clinical Leader (PCL) - Dietetics
Waitemata DHB - 0.80fte

We are excited to offer a fixed term parental role within the Waitemata DHB Allied Health Professional Clinical Leadership team, committed to optimising patient-centred care across the DHB, for a period of up to seven (7) months.
This role will build on existing work that is currently been undertaken by the Professional Clinical Leader - Dietetics, and is a key member of the Waitemata DHB clinical governance framework, with primary areas of responsibility for strategic development of your discipline including setting professional standards and ensuring the quality and safety of clinical practice within your domain.
Reporting directly to the Director of Allied Health, Scientific and Technical Professions and working collaboratively with the Associate Director of Allied Health, Scientific and Technical Professions, Operations Manager Allied Health, Head of Division Allied Health, Clinical Leaders across both adults and Child Women and Family (CW&F), Professional Advisors Specialist Mental Health and Addictions Services (SMH&AS), you will be responsible for achieving the highest possible standards of practice for your discipline.
You will also work in close partnership with Operations Managers, Unit Managers, Team Leaders, Team Managers Clinical Leaders and the Quality Management Team to facilitate optimum quality, productivity and efficiency of all relevant aspects of clinical service delivery.
You will have a strong role to play in leading and coordinating relevant continuing professional development activities across the DHB and in promoting interdisciplinary practice and innovative models of care.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least five years professional/clinical experience with proven leadership, relationship management skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Your other personal attributes include strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and eye for innovation and commitment to providing outstanding care to our community.
