Production Supervisor

Dairy Products NZ Limited is a small dynamic UHT & Dry Powder value added processing facility located in central Takanini. Our focus is on producing Quality Value added products for both the domestic and offshore markets in the Dairy and Non-Dairy Ice Cream and Blended specialty powders market.
We are looking for a self-motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to step up and take charge of the Production side of the business. As we are a small team, this will include working on, and overseeing the production lines, maintaining the production work orders and consumptions, and bringing a can do and upbeat attitude to complement our engaged team as we grow. We are a close-knit team and chip in wherever needed, so we need someone with that same mindset to come on board, along with someone who:
Is confident using an ERP system and spread sheets etc.Has great communication skillsHas an excellent eye for detail and attention to product qualityIs a proven and practical problem solverHas experience reviewing and writing SOPsIs experienced with FCP accreditation (a must) and preferably RMP accreditationHas Food and/or Dairy Manufacturing experience with preferably Dry Powder Blending, UHT, Fresh Yoghurts, Cheese, Dairy Blending, experienceHas strong mechanical aptitude
In this role you will be responsible for supervising, training and coaching staff, as well as:
Managing batching though to packing of UHT processCompleting the CIP of the UHT batching processManaging blending through to packing of powder packing lineEnsuring production meets quality standards and maintaining our high level of efficienciesProblem SolvingMaintaining a clean, tidy and safe work environment
