Not only are NZWindows 100% locally owned, but they also proudly champion a range of NZ suppliers when it comes to the raw materials they use.This is a company that strives for excellence and is looking to the future, ready for 3 Production Supervisors to join in their journey as they continue to drive their manufacturing sites and processes to the next level. 2 of these roles will be based in Hamilton and 1 will be in Tauranga.About the Role:To support and supervise the leading hands in charge of windows, sliders and specials, whilst ensuring the factory is performing at optimal efficiency.Day to day duties will include:Run or supervise the daily start up meetings, ensuring they effective.Pre-Staging all the jobs for manufacture using the colour code system.Monitoring staff breaktimes and when they return to their stations.Spot checking products to see if they comply with the manufacturing packs.Enforcing PPE at all timesTraining the teams on new improved standards as they come up.Completing area auditsEnsure rework trolley/areas are empty with no outstanding work.About You:You will have excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and if you have some experience in a building industry related role or in aluminium joinery that would be advantageous. You will be a well organised person, driven by goals and continuous improvement and be systematic in your approach and proud of your work, and your team. You will be adaptable and have a positive attitude in all you do, as well as good communication skills to both internal and external customers.
