Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee and manage the Afternoon Shift operations. This is a permanent full-time hands-onrole working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at 3.15pm to 11.15pm.On a day-to-day basis you will:Run an efficient team on scheduleCoordinate the production line, ensuring that products are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standardsCollaborate with other departments such as Sheetmetal, Coil, Custom Fabrication, Paint line, Assembly, Logistics and Maintenance to ensure that production runs smoothlyTrain and positively coach employees to ensure that they are competent in their roles, and that they adhere to company policies and proceduresCross training in other departments if required.Qualifications To be successful in the role, you will have:Demonstrated Leadership skills – including motivating, leading and managing a teamProven experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment (eg: Sheetmetal CNC machinery, press tooling optimisation, copper tube manufacture and brazing)Quality focused with good attention to detail and be safety focusedThe ability to interpret engineering drawingsExcellent work ethics including attendance and punctualityAdditional Information Stable employment within a proven company and working with a great teamOpportunity to upskill and developFree on-site car parkingSubsidised on-site caféDiscounted health insurance premiums through Southern Cross.At Temperzone we believe that our people are our strength, it's important to us to have the right people in the right roles to move us into the future.
