Production Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Get out of the rat race and come and manage the production team at our plant in Kopu/Thames. Reporting to the National Manufacturing Manager, you will lead a team of 4-5 Production Supervisors and 10-15 Production workers, in order to ensure production targets are met, safety and quality are at the forefront, and the team are grown and developed. You will have had previous experience in a similar role for at least 3-5 years. You will relish the opportunity to take the team to the next level and enjoy seeing people flourish under your leadership. You may have had prior experience in project management, maintenance and/or engineering. You will be a self-starter who is highly motivated by reaching and exceeding production targets, and you will be committed to safety and quality in everything you do. You're an effective problem solver, don't mind getting your hands dirty, are down to earth, planned & organized. You can communicate well both verbally and written with all levels, and you're committed to making things better. Aside from the production team, in this role you will work closely with the Technical Manager, the Maintenance Manager, the Group Health & Safety Manager and the Site Administrator.
