Production Coordinator - Rotorua Sawmill

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to fill the role of Production Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience solid wood processing. A people person and a natural leader, you will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail, dealing with any issues positively and effectively. The role reports to the Site Manager at Claymark View Road Sawmill. This role is to provide full operational support to Site Manager by providing active support and assistance to the Site Manager and Site Shift Supervisors. Key function and duties: Managing day to day functions of the sawmill operations Troubleshoot and be part of resolving technical issues. Ensure monthly H & S targets are met Responsibility to ensure staff payroll is done in a timely manner, headcount is maintained and provide support to staff  Complete purchase orders for the site Daily and monthly production reporting for the sawmill  Responsibility for quality system and that monthly target are exceeded. Person Specifications: Strong leadership abilities Excellent time management and projects management skills Proficient in high level data analysis and reporting/graphing An ability to be flexible to move across job tasks as required Experience in sawmilling/Solid wood processing 10 + years Strong ability to communicate clearly, concisely and sensitively Shows flexibility, works calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
