Our ideal candidate will have previous experience solid wood processing. A people person and a natural leader, you will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail, dealing with any issues positively and effectively. The role reports to the Site Manager at Claymark View Road Sawmill.This role is to provide full operational support to Site Manager by providing active support and assistance to the Site Manager and Site Shift Supervisors.Key function and duties:Managing day to day functions of the sawmill operationsTroubleshoot and be part of resolving technical issues.Ensure monthly H & S targets are metResponsibility to ensure staff payroll is done in a timely manner, headcount is maintained and provide support to staffComplete purchase orders for the siteDaily and monthly production reporting for the sawmillResponsibility for quality system and that monthly target are exceeded.Person Specifications:Strong leadership abilitiesExcellent time management and projects management skillsProficient in high level data analysis and reporting/graphingAn ability to be flexible to move across job tasks as requiredExperience in sawmilling/Solid wood processing 10 + yearsStrong ability to communicate clearly, concisely and sensitivelyShows flexibility, works calmly under pressure and to tight deadlinesApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
