Work for a Te Tiriti-led and progressive world class tertiary education provider.Work collaboratively in a well-established team with a strong reputation.As the Production Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the seamless operation of the Marketing Production team's day-to-day activities. This involves comprehensively understanding new project requirements, defining responsibilities, and orchestrating the coordination and planning of tasks originating from the Marketing & Engagement team and across the organization. Your role entails evaluating the significance of requests, allocating tasks to appropriate team members, and collaborating with Marketing Specialists or Project Managers when necessary to refine needs and reach consensus on solutions. Additionally, you'll maintain a clear overview of the team's workload, working closely with projects leads to ensure transparent timelines, effective communication, and consistent updates.
Previous experience in a production coordination or project management role within a graphic design studio or print.Proficiency in project management tools.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of print production processes and graphic design principles.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in a busy deadline-driven environment.Ability to gather clear business data.Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen clientDemonstrated appreciation of the necessity for working with existing processes and standards while being prepared to question them at appropriate times.Experience working as part of a team.Knowledge or Qualification in Project Management or Operations ManagementKnowledge of workflow, system and process design/implementationAra Institute of Canterbury, a business division of Te Pukenga (Ara), is a vibrant and progressive tertiary institute providing world-class, tertiary-level education throughout the Canterbury and Waitaki region.
