Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Product Owner to lead and deliver continuous improvement and development of products or services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of quality user experiences and customer outcomes. The successful candidate will represent the voice of the business and the customer, relaying their requirements, problems, and issues to be solved by the Scrum team/s. What you'll do: As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in leading Scrum teams towards delivering value for customers. You will work closely with both the Product Manager and Business Owner to ensure seamless delivery of product vision, strategy, and road-map. Your responsibilities will include owning all backlogs, prioritising them effectively, participating in quarterly planning processes, leading Scrum team's direction and priorities, evaluating risks, developing Benefits Realisation Plans with Product Managers, communicating with key stakeholders on priorities and progress. This role requires someone who can make balanced decisions while negotiating between competing stakeholders.
Work closely with the Product Manager to seamlessly deliver the product vision, strategy, and road-map
Be responsible directly to the Business Owner for delivering continuous improvements and development of the product/service
Own all backlogs and prioritise these effectively
Participate in preparation for quarterly planning processes including updating product backlog, reviewing and contributing to product vision and road-map
Lead direction and priorities of Scrum team/s, working with Scrum Master/s to facilitate this successfully
Evaluate risks and level of coverage (e.g., testing) making calculated decisions accordingly
Develop Benefits Realisation Plan with Product Manager
Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders on priorities and progress
What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Product Owner role will bring a solid understanding of the product, its users, marketplace, and future trends. You will have proven experience in representing customer's needs effectively within an Agile environment and enabling the product vision and road-map developed by Product Managers. Your ability to own/prioritise EPICS/backlogs effectively will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your strong skills in risk evaluation and decision-making, experience in developing Benefits Realisation Plans with Product Managers, and excellent communication skills for collaborating with key stakeholders will set you apart.
