Design is highly valued across all customer touchpoints at Ideally. The product design should align with our brand values and the core brand idea "Institute of Ideas". The role The Product Owner is a linchpin in the Ideally experience, driving the product development from ideation through to launch. This role is about understanding customer needs, translating them into actionable development tasks, and ensuring the final product exceeds user expectations. You will work alongside the CTO, Product Design team, Research and Development team to build a product that's both powerful in its functionality and intuitive in its user experience. Ideally has a Product Council responsible for reviewing strategy and roadmap priorities, providing structure to discovery and build processes, the Product Owner will work closely with this group. You will be in a key role working collaboratively with our team and customers and will dive into the overall user experience to understand pain points, and explore new features and improvements. This is an exciting opportunity for a product owner to be involved early and shape a great product. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy: support the strategic direction for product features, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities. Backlog Management: Prioritize the product backlog by balancing customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility. Release Planning: Work with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver product releases, communicating with marketing to ensure adoption.. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the nexus between business, technical teams, and customers, managing expectations and aligning objectives. Performance Metrics: Track and report on product performance, utilizing metrics to inform the product roadmap and backlog prioritization. Candidate Profile Strategic Mindset: You have a strong background in product management with the ability to identify and pursue high-impact initiatives. Analytical Approach: With a data-driven mindset you will thrive in our research domain, make informed decisions based on industry trends, user feedback, and competitive analysis. Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable with pace and ambiguity and experience in agile environments you have honed your ability to work closely with engineering, design, and business teams. Communication Skills: Your excellent communication skills enable you to articulate complex product strategies to diverse stakeholder groups.
