Our major goal is to reduce the demand on ambulance services nationwide by providing preventative and educational services that seek to give people better knowledge to manage their health and wellbeing in their own homes and communities and provide alternative options to ambulance transportation.About the role:As a Product Manager (Medical Products) you'll play a vital role in the strategic development, management, and enhancement of our medical product portfolio (Public Access Defibrillators, First Aid Kits, Health Professional resuscitation equipment, and general First Aid products). From conception to post-launch optimisation, you'll ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability, usability, and safety, all while driving profitability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and enhancement of our medical product portfolio, incorporating customer feedback to ensure functionality and usability across diverse user segments.Oversee the entire product life cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise inventory levels and enhance logistics efficiency.Work closely with internal teams to procure high-quality products aligned with company objectives and provide necessary support to sales and customer teams.Inspire and guide direct report towards shared objectives, contribute to a safe and healthy workplace environment, and actively participate in enhancing service and organisational culture.About you:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, or a related fieldPrevious Product Management Experience (5 years +), ideally within a regulated market such as medical devices.Experience in managing the life-cycle of a product with a proven track record of launching, managing and maintaining a profitable product portfolio.Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including the ability to lead change and achieve business outcomes.A high level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence others.This is your opportunity to use your skills in an organisation that really makes a difference to the NZ community.
