An exciting opportunity has become available to join a talented, highly motivated and engaged team as a Product Manager – Business Insurance The purpose of the role is to manage the end-to-end design, development, maintenance, creation, and the delivery of customer valued products/solutions. Key Responsibilities Product management and maintenance in accordance with governance, frameworks and charters. Work with all stakeholders including Chief Customer Office, Claims and Operations teams to support the development of end-to-end customer valued propositions, including with third party providers. Regularly review, maintain, and negotiate all agreed intermediary wordings, ensuring legal, risk and reinsurance input as required. Complete, present and maintain appropriate governance documents and attend relevant committees as required. Help drive value for our customers and business partners, by maximising sustainable profits and generate quality growth across portfolios. Leverage of scale, innovation and ways of working across Suncorp. Through effective proposition & product practices, make it easy for our customers and valued business partners to do business with us and enhance the customer experience. Actively support, encourage and embed collegiate ways of working amongst product practitioners across Suncorp NZ to leverage knowledge and capability to maximise business outcomes. Identify, develop and implement the identification of new opportunities to enhance the customer experience, simplify business process and create value for our customers, business partners and shareholders. Skills and Experience An insurance related qualification isdesirable. Experience in NZ and/or Global insurance and/or financial services market environment ideally within a Commercial or Rural Insurance context. Experience in product management of 5+ years. Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflict. Leadership and change management skills, consultation, influencing and negotiation capability.
