We are a long-established textiles wholesaling company, and we are currently seeking a new team member who is passionate about developing and managing product ranges. Do you have superior organisational skills, an abundance of initiative and a fabulous "can-do" attitude? James Dunlop Textiles is a well-established family-owned New Zealand textiles wholesaler and distributor. Our company offers drapery and upholstery interior furnishings products for use in residential homes and commercial situations. We sell our products in New Zealand, Australia, the United States and Asia predominantly. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our product development division, with plenty of opportunities to develop your career. You will be responsible for the development and management of the Zepel product ranges, created in line with the strategic business plans across product, marketing, sales and operations. This role will act as abrand ambassador, representing and promoting the brand effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining brand integrity and accountability across all activities, maintaining relationships with various departments within the company, coordinating product launches creating samples, and managing the end-of-life of products. You will possess the following skills and attributes: Minimum 5 years of industry experience ideally working within the home furnishings industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish strong internal and external relationships that positively impact brand and Company objectives. Good planning, analytical and negotiation skills. Superior organisation and time management skills. Excellent PC skills and proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Self-motivated and results-driven. You will be responsible for: Manages Zepel product plan in line with the company's overall strategic business plans and budgets. Assists with the implementation of new stock items as well as the discontinuation and exit strategy of old stock items for the Zepel brand. Responsible for all Zepel administration, Monday.com and SAP data maintenance. Understands current market conditions from both a design and financial perspective, in order to ensure the product mix is appropriate to market demands so that agreed brand sales targets and margins can be achieved. Drives the Zepel content creation across all marketing platforms, including the Zepel imagery in line with strategic marketing plans and budgets. Sampling stylist for the Zepel brand. Works closely with JDG sales managers to understand key performance drivers and identify gaps in the current Zepel product mix with opportunities for a new product.
