Product Manager - Hino

We are looking for a superstar Product Manager to champion our Hino product offerings.

The position is based at our Palmerston North site and will report directly to the National Business Development Manager. The purpose of the role is to maximise market penetration by securing customer loyalty and acceptance of the product range offering, leading to new and repeat business opportunities.

Specifically, the role will involve working with the National Business Development Manager to prepare a strategic plan for the product range, and investigate opportunities for increased sales, advising dealers and branches on parts matters, negotiation of purchase price of parts from suppliers, setting the national list price on all parts, and resolving pricing disputes with dealers and or customers.

To be considered for these roles you will have sound sales experience, a strong customer focus, with the ability to enquire, interpret and understand customer requirements including provision of technical information, have brand and product awareness, be commercially astute having worked with budgets and profit targets, have the ability to develop and execute product range plans and be proficient in using computer applications and software to report and track KPI's. Experience working in vehicle parts departments would be an advantage.
