Based at either our Christchurch (Hornby) or Hokitika site and reporting to our Technical Standards & Product Release Manager we're looking for a Product Grading Coordinator to help mitigate potential risk to the business and enhance business reputation. This is a key role in our Quality team with responsibility for coordinating all product grading activities, supporting specification management processes, and for the provision of a range of standard reports for tracking quality performance measures. More specifically this role will: be responsible for the grading of final product, ensuring all product grading clearance is accurate and available to the Customer Documentation, Sales and Export Administration teams identify factors that may impact on the market eligibility of product ensure product grading batch disposition is amended promptly when a change of eligibility and/or status has been identified ensure quality product traceability meets legal requirements be a key systems user for LabWare LIMS and ERP systems support specification management activities ensuring Westland Milk Products specifications (new and amended) are promptly updated as approved in a timely manner Applicants will ideally possess: a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to be competent and accurate when working with a variety of data exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate clearly with a wide variety of people a commitment to quality well-developed computer literacy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and a comfort working with a wide range of computer systems This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known company, working in great role within a dedicated and passionate team who take pride in everything they do.
