We drive change as an opportunity for us to innovate and transform our business and to achieve beyond what we think is possible.About the opportunitySupporting Product Development Manager, the Product Development Technologist will be an integral member of the GF R&D function and GF business and will make a strong contribution to a high performing R&D team and culture within GF.The role will be accountable for the Delivery of a portfolio of NPD projects against marketing briefs, executed using agreed Product development & Change management processes, quality and regulatory requirements and manufacturing capability; Product Development Value Engineering; and Providing technical expertise to key stakeholders.Specifically, You will be responsible for:New product development, reformulations, new/change of suppliers/ingredients, shelf life testing, nutritional analysis, test bakery and production trialsEnsure ingredient approval processes & regulatory requirements are being followedDesign, deliver and report on any testing, factory trials, shelf life testing or nutritional testing, including documenting and interpreting all data generated.Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of all key approval activities, including raw material & finished product specifications, factory trial reports and SAP data.To be successful in this role you will need:1+ years' experience in a Food Technologist and/or Quality role but will look at recent graduates looking to start their careerAnalytical, Project Management, Problem Solving, Commercialisation ExperienceIngredients expertise and project management experience with proven results.Highly motivated, self-starter, independent, self-disciplined, demonstrating ownership & initiativesWhat can we offer you?With sites spanning across the Australasian region, working as part of a highly driven team at Goodman Fielder, you can expect the opportunity to build your own home-grown career across functions, locations and brands.In return for your passion and success, we will reward you with a competitive remuneration package and help you to achieve personal and professional growth and development.
