Reporting to our Group Head of Product Development at The a2 Milk Company, you will bring expertise to deliver our Infant Nutrition program and projects across multiple markets. Responsibilities Leading and driving end-to-end delivery and technical development of new infant nutritional powder projects to agreed timelines, Prepares formulations & provides technical & formulation directions. Developing the technical brief, ensuring formulations and ingredients comply with relevant market regulatory requirements. Approval of ingredient lists, NIPS, and development of finished product specifications. Provide direction on sourcing ingredients and work alongside the Quality, Regulatory and Procurement teams to ensure compliance and approval. Work with the science, regulatory, and nutrition teams to develop opportunities around new ingredients and technology. Leads / supports product development at other company manufacturing sites as required. Skills & Experience Your considerable expertise and knowledge within infant nutrition will play a key role in your ability to deliver on our product development initiatives; you will comfortably be able to build relationships and deliver technical expertise and advice across infant nutrition and nutritional powders. The following skills are considered essential for this role: Experience as a Senior Technologist with a minimum of 7 years track record of developing and delivering Infant Nutrition & nutritional powder products. Experience in the formulation, development & delivery of dairy-based infant nutrition & nutritional powders across multiple markets. Degree qualified in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or other related science degree. An ability to provide technical advice and expertise on new ingredients, emerging technologies, product formulation & production scale-up. A record of accomplishment of product delivery, analytical and problem solving and delivering outcomes with agility. A mindset to challenge the status quo and deal with ambiguity. Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication. Commercially focused & comfortable with a fast-paced culture. 4 Litres of fresh a2 milk for each team member weekly.
