The RoleDevelop, and help drive the product pipeline strategy to maintain the performance and portfolio success.Formulate ideas and concepts and how to independently develop the formula from wet (spray dryer) to the dry (blending and canning) while driving the delivery of the NPD team.Ensure compliance to the site technical initiatives across the siteCoordinating any required trials (product and packaging) and for developing and maintaining product specificationsManage regulatory relationships and ensure site compliance to all relevant regulatory legislation.Develop the BOM, support, product tests and shelf life tests, right through to launch.Lead NPD continuous improvement.Look after the formulation autonomously, from start to finish.Lead with a focus on continuous improvement and a positive 'can do' attitudeSkills & ExperienceSound knowledge of food science and food chemistryInfant formula development knowledge, from the wet sideAbility to work under limited supervision and independentlyStrong communication skills – written and verbalThe ability to gather and interpret dataExcellent leadership and people management skills with demonstrated ability to achieve resultsStrong customer focusAbility to achieve results through influencing othersAbility to manage competing tasks under pressureDemonstrated effective delegation techniquesBenefitsThe opportunity to work for an international brand and one of New Zealand's largest dairy businesses.Work with a company that promotes a culture first environment.The opportunity to progress and be a part of a career succession plan.
