Produce Manager

Do you have following attributes - Are you currently working as a Manager or 2IC in a Produce Department?
Can you deliver on set budgets and GP targets, and consistently deliver high standards?
Do you have an excellent understanding of the Food Safety Management systems?
Do you have a thorough knowledge of SAP?
Are you able to grow your staff to reach their full potential?
We are seeking a person who will has excellent communication and organisational skills, works a team player, and great attention to detail. They will also enhance the reputation of the business by promoting and encouraging 'best practice' levels of customer service. If successful you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and coordinating all facets of the day to day operations of the department and ensuring staff are well trained to provide the best overall shopping experience for their customers.
The responsibilities include leading a team of approximately 10 staff and their ongoing training and development, maintaining high standards of merchandising, the buying of all produce and achieving weekly sales and Gross Profit targets.
The successful Applicant will have excellent leadership skills, product knowledge and buying skills, be organised and enjoy working in a busy retail environment.
