About the role :In this role you will provide procurement and contract support to the Facilities and Engineering team. This is a 6 months secondment full time position, working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital.You will provide the following tasks;Provide administration services to the area and Facilities teamManage and maintain the contract information for the district in a central repositoryEnsure data currency and integrity of the contracts database / contract information in other contract management system / sEnsure all contracts are complete (signed) and a central and safe repository of documents is maintainedActively monitor and inform of contract expiry dates, options and Rights of Renewal.About you :The ideal candidate will need to have :3-5 years' experience in supplier and contract management, procurement, legal or finance field.Able to interpret contract drawings and specificationsConversant with the Government Rules of Sourcing and Good Practice ProcurementKnowledge of contracts and health and safety legislationAbility to produce contract progress reports both operational and financials.This position would be required to manage relationships with people and organisations both inside and outside of the company.The role requires strong relationship and communication management skills, ability to work across all levels of the organisation and co-ordination of multiple projectsWhat we can offer you :A great learning environment where you will continue to grow and be challengedFantastic culture and team environment across the Counties Manukau DistrictAn exciting role where no two days will be the sameThe train stops outside our front door!We will provide a safe working environment, a culture that encourages development through training and teamwork.
