Details of the offer

About the role : In this role you will provide procurement and contract support to the Facilities and Engineering team. This is a 6 months secondment full time position, working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital. You will provide the following tasks; Provide administration services to the area and Facilities team Manage and maintain the contract information for the district in a central repository Ensure data currency and integrity of the contracts database / contract information in other contract management system / s Ensure all contracts are complete (signed) and a central and safe repository of documents is maintained Actively monitor and inform of contract expiry dates, options and Rights of Renewal. About you : The ideal candidate will need to have : 3-5 years' experience in supplier and contract management, procurement, legal or finance field. Able to interpret contract drawings and specifications Conversant with the Government Rules of Sourcing and Good Practice Procurement Knowledge of contracts and health and safety legislation Ability to produce contract progress reports both operational and financials. This position would be required to manage relationships with people and organisations both inside and outside of the company.
