As a company committed to excellence, we are seeking a talented Procurement Coordinator to join our team. Job Duties: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with Asian food suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions for procurement contracts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our network of Asian food suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery of products. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain high standards of product quality and service. Coordinate with our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient receipt and storage of imported food products. Analyze market trends and consumer demand to make informed purchasing decisions and maintain optimal inventory levels. Stay updated on food safety regulations and certification requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards. Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory checks. Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and profitability. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in I nternational Trade, Business , Finance or a related field. Preferred work experience in purchasing, import/export operation, taxation, administration, trade or management. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams. Desirable multilingual proficiency, particularly in Asian languages such as Chinese, Malay, Vietnamese or Hindi.
