Helix Investigation Services is looking to appoint an Investigator to assist in growing the business while also providing excellent service to our existing clients. We are Hawkes Bay-based but our client list extends across the country, so expect to travel! Under the guidance of our Investigations Director, you will complete a wide range of investigations across: Criminal Defence Infidelity Employment Cyber Private Prosecution The work is varied, exciting and rewarding. This position will not only allow you to expand your skill set, but it also offers long-term growth opportunities. Part of your role will be focussed on growing and cementing working relationships. Your strong " people skills " will be essential to success. Job Responsibilities: Dutifully investigate cases and collect information across a wide range of circumstances Secure background information for clients as required, whilst complying with privacy laws and professional obligations Record witness statements in a professional manner whilst understanding the goals of the file Triage potential new clients whilst promoting the capabilities and values of Helix Develop relationships with our existing partnership network and create new ones Communicate to a very high level in oral and written form You will need to: Be a 'self-starter' who focuses on solutions, not problems Be a proven communicator in written and verbal form Work well with others, but also be comfortable working on your own Be flexible with your work hours to meet the needs of our clients and to maximise growth opportunities Have an investigative background or be able to demonstrate you have relevant skills and attributes to do this work Be willing to seek out and engage with potential new clients Be able to pass a pre-employment check Show resilience and have a sense of humour Be willing and able to travel $$$ Well this will depend on you.
