TheOpportunity We have a unique opportunity for anIntegration Architect with experience leading significant integrationarchitecture transformation at an enterprise-wide level. As our Principal Architect - Enterprise Integration, you'll play apivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the integrationstrategies and solutions within Gallagher. You'll be directing the design and delivery of logical architectures,architectural patterns, business capabilities, technical solutions, andintegration governance processes that enable and empower the Gallagher Group tomeet its tactical and strategic business goals.
Working with key seniorstakeholders and project teams across the business, you'll be responsible for aligningtechnology solutions with business objectives, ensuring seamless communicationand data flow between disparate systems, and optimizing the overall enterprise. You'll also provide crucial thoughtleadership through understandingthe overall business strategy and directing the creation of an EnterpriseIntegration Architecture roadmap that delivers all the capabilities required toachieve our strategic outcomes.
The Fit We're looking for an Integration Architect with significant experience in developing andimplementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Integration Architecturestandard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategicplans. You'll have proven experience creating enterprise models and you'll havea deep understanding of complex business use cases. You'll be gifted in the synthesis andanalysis of complex customer and business problems to drive solutions, withexperience making data-driven, customer-centric decisions to define scalableinformation architecture solutions that lead to increased discoverability,comprehension, and customer engagement. Tosucceed in this role, you'll also need:
M.S. or PhD in Engineering, ComputerScience, Mathematics, Physics, or other relevant discipline.10+ years of experience as an IntegrationArchitect at Senior level or above.Hands-on experience with Workato (AutomationPro II, Pro III certification).Strong understanding of REST web services.Solid knowledge of APIs and Common DataModel.Proficiency in data modelling and processing data flows – SQL Queries.Ability to build out integrations andcustomizations.Experience in developing data models thatsupport inter alia, time dependency, historical tracings, taxonomies (simpleand complex).Mastery of application modelling languages/techniques (e.g., UML, OML,entity relationship modelling, DFDs).Experience in business process improvementand knowledge of business intelligence tools.Deep understanding of transaction andinformation systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies andlife cycle as well as ETL and MDM technologies.Demonstrated experience in data modelling, information architecture,schema evolution, analytics, and data organisation layouts.WhyGallagher?
