About You: This role demands a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience leading commercial software development in Microservices/API as a Principal Engineer. The ideal candidate will showcase extensive expertise in guiding NodeJS development at an enterprise level, collaborating proficiently with NodeJS frameworks such as Fastify, Express.js, and Moleculer. A crucial aspect of the role involves substantial experience in managing API Gateways, with a preference for Datapower and Kong. Proficiency in IBM Integration products, including IIB, MQ, APIC, and ICP4I, is essential. The role further requires hands-on experience in Java development at an enterprise level, particularly with Spring Boot, Java 8+, and Spring. The candidate must demonstrate comprehensive leadership in API development and integration, specializing in REST/JSON, Kafka, and message queues. Technical prowess extends to in-depth knowledge of database systems, encompassing Oracle and SQL Server. Additionally, the role mandates practical experience in working with Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration pipelines, along with proficiency in container platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
