Datacom's ERP platform includes various technologies such as NetSuite, Oracle OpenAir, HCM, Boomi Middleware, Microsoft, and Cloud technologies.  About The Role: As the Principal Engineer you will provide advanced customisation and troubleshooting support to the company's ERP team.  You will also be responsible for but not limited to the following: Provide support to ensure system faults are rectified promptly.  Design, develop, and deploy SharePoint-based applications, including web parts, workflows, forms, and custom solutions.  Develop technical solutions to meet ongoing business requirements.  Enable users at all levels to perform their jobs effectively.  Ensure business reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner.  Support continuous improvement of systems.  Assist the organisation in the selection, development of and transition to new solutions.  Build rapport and working relationship with teams within the business at both management and end user level.   What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or similar role.  At least 7 years' experience in application development, ideally in a service provider environment, with a focus on Microsoft technologies development. Strong knowledge of SharePoint platform, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.  Familiar with Azure resources like Azure AD, Functions, Web Apps and Storage accounts.  Proficiency in development tools, such as Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, and PowerShell.  Experience in developing SharePoint solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, C#.Net, SQL, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Azure and Power Platform.  Proficient in development of Power Apps, Canvas, Model-driven App and Power Automate.  Proficient in working with SharePoint APIs, RESTful services, and the SharePoint App Model.   Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint applications, including performance and usability problems.  Conduct testing and quality assurance of SharePoint solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.  Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint technologies and best practices and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.  Available provide support outside of regular hours, on weekends, or whenever the need arises.  Good to Have:  Integrate SharePoint with other business systems and third-party applications, such as CRM or ERP systems.  Implement security measures and permissions to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.  Have working know with MS Teams and Office 365 groups.  Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business IT, Computer Science or related disciplines.
