Ko ta matou mahi -?Our Role Working as part of the Urban Development and Delivery (UDD) Risk, Benefits and Assurance team, the Principal Advisor - Project Risk is the subject matter expert responsible for delivering risk management and risk advisory services to add value to project delivery and achieving project outcomes. The team supports and protect the organisation's operations and enable the organisation to make quality decisions, to anticipate and deal with risks, threats and opportunities in a structured manner and to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of programmes, projects and processes. The role works alongside, and collaborates with, Project Delivery, Commercial Management, and Civil Construction and Infrastructure teams to seamlessly deliver Risk and Assurance services and advice. Nga pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring Relevant work experience demonstrating strong Infrastructure Project Management skills.Risk Management experience- ideally in the Infrastructure Development or Housing Development sectors. This is not a deal breaker. If you can showcase strong risk management experience around large infrastructure or construction projects we'd be keen to speak with you.Any level of experience with Quantitative Risk Analysis, and experience using Monte Carlo Simulation modelling will be highly regarded.A working understanding of international risk management frameworks and standards (such as ISO31000:2018) and any experience with risk tools such as ARM (or similar) will be welcome.Experience functioning as a member of a highly-skilled, high performing and engaged risk management teams in multi-faceted and demanding environments.Interest in the New Zealand social housing, residential and property development sectors. Ability to innovate and apply new practices and processes to ensure continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and advanced written and verbal skills.Experience navigating and operating in a regulated environment, experience working constructively across functions and track record of building and maintaining the trust of all stakeholders.
