You will contribute to the success of our team through a combination of vision, thought leadership, relationship management and organisational agility.Our Finance team works to support Te Puni Kokiri by:Maintaining the confidence of our senior management team and external stakeholders (Ministers, Treasury, Audit) through sound financial management and reportingLeading Te Puni Kokiri's Budget processMaintaining financial guidelines and policies to provide a safe environment for our kaimahi to operate withinUnderstanding and delivering on the needs of our stakeholders and building a culture of continuous improvementKo wai koe | About youTo be successful in this role you will need:Strong analytical, strategic and planning skillsAn ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisationsExperience in analysing technical issues and making business decisions with financial impactTo demonstrate strong written and oral communication skillsExperience in financial management reportingStrong working knowledge of government financial management legislation, policies and practicesExperience in a similar role and environment would be advantageousWhat will you get in return?A diverse and rewarding working environment full of passionate people focussed on discovering solutions that will assist in serving our communities.
