A rare opportunity has become available for an NZ trained junior primary teacher in Auckland South. This school has been in operation for over a century and draws from a wide cross-section of the community. Special environmental features include an auditorium, a modern school library, e-library, large swimming pool, shade and deck areas, junior, middle and senior playgrounds to name a few.
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The ideal candidate should have around 5 years of junior primary school (Y1-3) experience in New Zealand. The candidate should have experience with integration of multi-media in the classroom and with interactive technologies (or the desire to embrace integrated technologies in your classroom).
Essential qualifications and knowledge:
A recognised degree in Education with Full NZ Teachers Registration
Comprehensive knowledge of PB4Life
Other desirable skills and traits:
An attitude of collaboration and cooperation
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient computer and communicative technologies skills
Have a great sense of humour
Know the importance of knowing the akonga/learners
Have strength in teaching literacy
Enjoy making a difference for akonga/learners

Verification of unrestricted work rights in New Zealand, e.g. citizenship, passport or birth certificate
