Primary Industries Project Leader

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Reporting to the National Group Manager Horticulture,the Pathways into Primary Industries (PIPI) Project Leader will plan andoversee the PIPI Project which is a pre-employment strategy that extendsPrimary ITO's function beyond facilitation of training for the employed. ThePIPI Project Leader will engage with an existing internal pan-sector crossfunctional working group and seek external funding to deliver the project. Thestrategy requires partnerships with government agencies, regional groups, othertertiary education organisations, and primary industries stakeholders todeliver a clear and consistent strategy nationally. PIPI is intended to extendand leverage our existing systems, processes and external resources to mobiliseskills, knowledge, and expertise as part of a co-ordinated approach by sectorand region. The plan aims to use Primary ITO's existing funding mechanisms andnew funding streams to create a complete and sustainable strategy foremployment in our industry.

A recognized tertiary qualification or equivalentprofessional experience
Primary Industry knowledge and experience
NZ Education system knowledge and experience
Marketing savvy
Established networks, particularly with keystakeholders in the sector
Demonstrated background in delivering high-customerservice
