What we do

The Canterbury Initiative team work at theinterface between secondary care, primary care and community care to engage,facilitate and implement change across the Canterbury health system.

The Role: Where you fit in

The Primary Care/PracticeNurse Liaison works alongside Canterbury Initiative leadership team to identifyopportunities for contribution by nursing at the interfaces of clinical care:

Reviewand contribute to HealthPathways. Plan, coordinate and support the delivery of CINurse Education. Maintain and grow network of nursing across thehealth system. Work with CI team to identify and facilitate newclinical projects.

Attributes we are looking for:

Registrationwith the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Acurrent practicing certificate. Currentlyin working in General Practice. Theability to be able to engage with other practice nurses, clinicians and alliedhealth to problem solve, support peer training and help develop the services. Flexibilityto work some evenings if required.
