Practice Team Lead - Tarawera Medical Centre 24 hours per week Tarawera Medical Centre was established in 1989 and is situated in the heart of Kawerau, providing general medical support. With over 5000 patients enrolled in the Practice, Tarawera Medical Centre plays a pivotal role in supporting the Kawerau Community with health and wellbeing.  As of March 1st, 2024, Tarawera Medical Centre was purchased by Te Puna Manawa o Tarawera, a joint partnership between Tuwharetoa Mai Kawerau Ki Te Tai, Green Cross Health, and Te Puna Ora o Mataatua.  He aha te tunga I About the role  Do you have experience working in healthcare or general practice? Do you have a passion for community? Are you a motivated individual seeking a rewarding career in healthcare leadership? Due to retirement, Tarawera Medical is seeking a Practice Lead to join the team.  For this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Tarawera Medical Centre and ensuring service delivery runs smoothly. Ideally you will be an administration superstar, someone who understands the ins and outs of a GP centre. You will have a keen eye for the finer detail and constantly monitor risk, implementing processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality outputs. You will be no stranger to Cornerstone audit requirements, financial budgeting, and managing external complaints, so experience in a similar role is crucial! Overall, this is a busy role but would be a great steppingstone for someone looking to springboard their career into GP leadership.  So you can hit the ground running, we'd hope you have most of the following skills: Strong administration skills including experience designing and implementing processes and systems  Experience in a medical practice setting Knowledge using relevant CMS systems (Medtech preferred) Demonstrated experience maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders Values that align to our Kaupapa and the basic principles of Te Ao Maori.
