Practice Manager - (Full-Time) - Dunedin

Animates Vetcare is recruiting for a passionate Practice Manager to lead the team at our Dunedin clinic.We take pride in providing a supportive and safe workspace with great work life balance. We will provide everything you need (including leadership development) to enable you to do a great job and to allow you to grow as a valued member of our established and busy team.What you'll be doing:Develop and review clinic policies and proceduresRostering shifts for clinic teamCoaching and supporting your teamEnsuring compliance by the practice in areas such as OSH, equal opportunity, privacy and industrial relations.Implementing and organises in clinic trainingWhat we're looking for:You have a recognised Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification;You are proficient in all-round clinical and surgical nursing (experienced nurse);You've got customer service experience and you work well in a team;You have computer skills and don't mind learning new technology;You're passionate about the veterinary industry and high standards of patient care;You ideally have some clinical management experience; and,Can do attitude, passionate about managing both people and a clinic.What we offer:An awesome CPD budget with potential to travel for learning and development opportunities;Career development, including leadership coaching and training;Annual subscription to the NZVNA;Central support team made up of experienced veterinary professionals; and,The chance to be a part of a supportive local team and national clinical group.Trained Mental Health First Aiders, because we care about your mental health!Why you will love Animates:You will join a fun and passionate team, who are dedicated to making the world a happier place through the love of pets.
