Pr Associate

Job Description:Performance Food Group is seeking a part-time PR Associate in Nelson, New Zealand. As an Associate Level role, we are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience in public relations or a related field. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, dedicated, have excellent time management skills, and possess strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation- Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts- Coordinate and manage PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and sponsorship opportunities- Monitor and analyze media coverage and PR metrics to measure effectiveness of PR campaigns- Provide support to the PR Manager as needed- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations or a similar role- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other PR software tools
