We are currently seeking to appoint a skilled Power Substations Design/Drafting Coordinator to our team in New Zealand. The purpose of this role is to provide and coordinate drafting services across for HV/EHV substation and structural detailed designs to clients in transmission, distribution, and industrial HV sectors. You will be the main point of contact for all NZ substation drafting requirements and will be expected to manage delivery of drawings through our global delivery centres.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
We are seeking an experienced Designer Drafter who has worked specifically on substation design projects for a number of years.
Experienced in using AutoCAD and preferably MicroStation
Ability to understand technical drawings and independently guide others to deliver CAD outputs.
Ability to take general guidance or design mark-ups from engineers and develop into a detailed design drawing
Strong communicator with the ability to manage interfaces and outputs from our global delivery centres of excellence for design and drafting
Ability to study and understand a range of client CAD standards.
An ability to undertake the role of CAD checker for final deliverables to ensure compliance to CAD standards and quality procedures.
