Ply Mill Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a natural, hands-on leader that will add value, develop and drive performance results for the Production team, with a commitment to safety at all levels of the operation.

As Ply Mill Supervisor you will be responsible for motivating your team and leading by example. Tracking plant measures and striving to consistently deliver on agreed targets. Working collaboratively with the quality team to ensure product is manufactured to required standards. Building and maintaining effective relationships with management and colleagues across the site to achieve overall business objectives. You will also assume responsibility for the plant after hours with key decision-making authority.

What will you bring to the role?
Ability to work 12-hour Shifts i.e. four on, four off (two days and two nights)
Proven leadership skills in a manufacturing environment
Ability to deliver results on time to meet customer expectations
Motivated self-starter and team player who sets high standards for themselves and others
Good communication skills both oral and written and excellent organisational skills
A high level of accuracy and high-quality workmanship
Continuous improvement initiatives
Analytical troubleshooting ability
Ability to work within time constraints
Good Microsoft suite skills
Mechanically minded, results driven
