About the Role: As a Platform Architect for Storage, you will be the technology and domain specialist in your area. You will be responsible for designing and implementing storage platforms that align with CCLs architecture principles.
You will work closely with other CCL Platform Architects, Product Managers, and other SMEs to evolve existing platforms and services in cross-functional, Agile teams/squads.
Additionally, you will evaluate and recommend storage technologies, oversee storage system configurations, lifecycle management and ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
Day to day you will: Provide SME technical design capabilities to stakeholders, solution designers, engineers, and customers.Prepare and present technical design and as-built documentation to the appropriate forums.Contributing to project teams for design and implementation of new systems, designing/building within the documented parameters.Design, lead and champion proactive monitoring of the environments to ensure resolution of problems, incidents, and concerns, before they are service impacting.Provide consulting services when required to your team and other parts of the business, to offer expert SME design, support, advice, and skills.Stay updated of emerging technologies, understanding their implications and advantages to both CCL and its clients.Provide tier 4 support to your team, stakeholders, and clients.Ensure your team's capabilities are increased by providing mentorship and guidance.What experience you'll bring: You will bring extensive experience working with enterprise block, file and object storage in large complex environments and experience working within an MSP.You will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.You have a deep level of experience and understanding of core hardware platforms and a thorough knowledge of system architecture within storage, especially related with storage vendors such as, Hitachi, NetApp, Pure, HPE and Cisco MDS Fabrics.You will have vast experience with complex storage migrations, hardware/software upgrades and the continuous lifecycle process.You will ensure that automation is at the heart of delivery and contribute towards automation of repeatable tasks.You will also have a good knowledge of Compute and Data Protection platforms such as VMWare, HPE Synergy and CommVault.WHY CHOOSE US: Diversity and Inclusion: Te Kanorau me te Whakawhaiti mai Within Spark Business Group, we are constantly looking for ways to build a more inclusive culture.
