Plasterboard Fixers / Stoppers

To support the timely completion of all building and construction projects undertaken by the employer to a  good workmanlike standard. RESPONSIBILITIES:  Review build plans to determine materials and dimensions required Analyze drawings and specifications to assess proper layouts and determine best practice installation  procedures Measure and mark cutting lines on required materials Cutting materials, fixing and quality check Install plasterboard on timber and metal frames used in building construction and repair Fixing the plasterboard using the correct method Apply stopping materials using the proper methoh Apply the specified paint onto the surfaces using the correct method Finish surfaces of woodworks and /or wallboards Ensure safe usage of all hand tools, power tools and equipment Remove offcuts, clean work area and throw away rubbish at the end of each workday Work in an efficient manner with team mates to achieve a goal and meet a deadline. Get along with work mates maintaining a healthy and friendly work relationship in the jobsite.
