Full Time ApplicationCloses 24 May 2024Location: Hawkes Bay - HastingsAgricultural Equipment OperatorWe are looking for an experienced Plant Operator/Engineer to join the team at our state-of-the-art facility.The Plant Operator's role includes operating Greefa, Hawk equipment and/or Compac machinery efficiently and effectively. We are looking for someone that is able to hit the ground running so relevant machinery and fruit experience is essential.Key Responsibilities:Set up, start, control and stop packing lines and pre-sorterCalibrate machinery and monitor operation of packing lines and pre-sorter to ensure product meets specificationsSupport and participate in plant maintenance programmeMonitor alarms and take action to ensure safe operation of machineryThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operator who is looking to take their next step.Requirements:NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or one year relevant work experienceEagerness to learn more about new ways of packingIntermediate Computer competencyMechanical aptitudeFlexible to work day and evening shifts as required, minimum of 30 hours work per week is guaranteedAbility to work flexible hours to suit the seasonal fluctuationsAbout Sunfruit: Sunfruit Ltd is a Kiwi-owned company who is a well-established grower, packer and shipper of pipfruit and stonefruit.
