We are looking for a Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team based at our manufacturing site in East Tamaki. You will be actively involved in and have responsibility in ensuring optimal alignment between demand and supply for our plant whilst balancing efficiency, flexibility and quality, service levels and other factors to ensure we consistently deliver great quality coffee and tea to our customers!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing an accurate and stable Finished Goods production plan for the Auckland Manufacturing siteProduction planning within SAP APOProduction Scheduling – collaboration with Operations team to apply demand plan to optimise production scheduleMRP Planning and Inventory control - timely procurement of packaging and raw materialsManaging suppliers and report on quality and delivery performanceMonitoring of planning alerts, inventory levels, progress of production orders and component consumption.Master Data management, i.e. conduct regular reviews with the production teams of master data; capacity and component consumption and maintain Bill of MaterialsSupporting the effective management of Phase In / Phase Out planning and NPD launchesMaking continuous improvements to planning processes and practicesQualificationsIf you have the courage and confidence to venture into new cultures & territories, and you're brimming with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed, you'll fit right in at JDE Peets.
