Physiotherapist, Musculoskeletal Outpatients/Handtherapy

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist or Handtherapist (Occupational therapist or Physiotherapist)
0.9 FTE (72 hours per fortnight)
Permanent Position
Taranaki District Board require an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist or Handtherapist to work within our outpatient team at Taranaki Base Hospital and/or Hawera Physiotherapy Department.
This position could be based out of Hawera Hospital or Base Hospital or may include regular travel to Hawera 2 days/week
Our case load is varied with acute cases as well as complex rehabilitation of longer term conditions.
The successful candidate will:
Be registered with the NZ Physiotherapy Board or qualified Handtherapist (consideration will be given to applicants who have started or plan to start Handtherapy training)
Have a current practising certificate.
3 - 5 years experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy or Handtherapist as above
Show initiative, strong work ethic and be able to work independently.

We offer a supportive working environment with emphasis on ongoing learning, we work closely with a specialist pain team as well as having a hand therapy department onsite.
