We have a permanent part-time role, 36 hours per week, for a Physiotherapist to work in the Assessment Planning Unit (APU) to support an interdisciplinary team with a seven day service.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate physiotherapist to work as part of the PARIS (patient at risk of increased stay) team in APU/ED at Tauranga Hospital.
You will be working alongside an established team comprising another physiotherapist, Clinical Nurse Specialists, social work and occupational therapy. This role encourages flexible working to ensure there is a physiotherapist in APU 7 days of the week and will include working every second Saturday and Sunday.
You will be joining a close-knit team of Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants at Tauranga Hospital, with the support to gain experience in the wider inpatient setting/ weekend service.
You will work closely with the wider Allied Health team to manage the patients journey and ensure they are receiving efficient, patient-centred care and assist with transitioning patients home as part of the wider acute hospital flow.
