1.0 FTE / Fixed term for 12 months80 hours per fortnightBlenheim locationJoin Health NewZealand l Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough at a key time of change where youwill meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable,accessible, cohesive, and people-centred health system.This is mahi that willimprove the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got anopportunity for you to be part of it.Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position)You will lead the Wairau Hospital Pharmacy team, as part of the overall Pharmacy Service, to ensure a motivated team provide a safe and effective pharmacy service to the patients of Wairau Hospital and beyond.Along with leadership and sdministration responsibilities, you will also apply clinical skills for direct patient car.Although based in Blenheim, this position may occasionally require travelling to Nelson or elsewhere at times for face-to-face meetings or similar.Aswell as being an integral part of the Pharmacy Services Leadership team, youwill be a key member of the overall leadership Team based at Wairau HospitalThere may be some paid on-call requirement forthis role - negotiable.Salary range will depend on experience but islikely to be $114,000 to $121,500 per annum pro rata.Ko wai he kaitono totika?Whois an appropriate applicant?)You will be a pharmacist with (preferablybut not essential) at least 5 years post internship experience and demonstratedleadership qualities and experience.HospitalPharmacy experience is preferred but not essential for this exciting role. You will be passionate about patient care andquality improvement.Along with leadinga team, you will also be a strong team player with a view ensuring the PharmacyServices as a whole performs well for its staff, stakeholders and patients.Your oral and writtencommunications skills will be excellent and your computer literacy and skillswill also be essential.A sense of humour alwayshelps, as does the ability to manage stress and understand the importance ofself-care.The successful applicant willbe eligible to work in New Zealand and be a New Zealand registered Pharmacistwith no conditions on their Annual Practising Certificate (APC).A current APC, or ability to rapidly achievea current APC, is essential.
