This role includes stockmanagement, unpacking and receiving of stock, distribution of medicines, andadministrative tasks.
NCEA level 2 (pass in English and Maths)
demonstrable literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
attention to detail and accuracy
experience in inventory management and supply chain processes
competence in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
Having experience in a NZ pharmacysetting is an advantage! Furtherlearning is encouraged and supported.
Our Pharmacy department providesservices to Waikato hospital, a tertiary centre, plus 6 smaller ruralhospitals/ care units spread across the Waikato region. We consist ofapproximately 80 staff and are divided into five teams – two clinical, dispensary/supply(including compounding), quality use of medicines, and our community pharmacyservice (Pharmacy on Meade). We are a close knit team, focussed on helpingpatients through the provision of excellent pharmaceutical care, and we arepassionate about constantly striving to improve the services we provide.
