We have an exciting opportunity for a NZ Registered Pharmacist to join the experienced team at MercyAscot on a fixed term contract for 12 months, working 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week).We require a pharmacist to support our dispensary and also our clinical service, we're fairly flexible so the 20 hours can be spread over 3 or 4 days (Tuesday to Friday). We're looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working pharmacist with a passion for pharmacy who thrives on delivering high quality pharmaceutical care to patients and customers. You'll be working across both of our sites at Mercy Hospital (Epsom) and at Ascot Hospital (Remuera).We provide Pharmacy services to a range of clinical specialties such as orthopaedic, cardiac and general surgery, so your knowledge and experience will be used to support our Specialists in a multidisciplinary environment. MercyAscot is also committed to continuously improving patient care, hence there is also the opportunity to participate in quality improvement activities that include electronic solutions.As the successful candidate you will:be a NZ Registered Pharmacist and hold a current Annual Practising Certificatebe competent with LOTS or a similar dispensing system; and confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) to a proficient levelhave experience working in a hospital setting, across a variety of specialties.
