Peta Enterprises Ltd design and manufacture specialist dispensers to provide accurate dosing systems through water reticulation on farms in New Zealand and across the world We are currently seeking a highlymotivated Mechanical Engineer who has a strong engineering manufacturing skillset with design capability to help develop water treatment systems and facilitate business growth We are seeking someone who has Designs focused on product optimisationExperience working with machining equipmentAn understanding of flow systems and fluid dynamicsAn indepth understanding of health and safety practicesStrong ideas for custom equipment developmentResearch into design elements for ease of use upscaling products increasing production cost reduction and improving reliabilityProduction of maintenance manuals and documentation for designed parts and systemsEngineering general and project management skillsThis is a handson role and the successful applicant will have proven experience in the following Experience and understanding of good engineering practicesMaintain and develop relationships with clients and the supply chain3D modelling experience SolidWorks preferredExperience writing Standard Operating Procedures Risk Assessments Method Statements and associated documentationYou will also have A foundation degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline preferably mechanical engineeringA high level of Microsoft Word and Excel skills35 years experience in a similar positionA highly developed attention to detailA problem solving and can do attitudeReliability and punctualityThe ability to negotiate a diverse range of responsibilitiesThe flexibility to contribute ideas and solutions to a broad spectrum of engineering problems NZ Drivers license
