Location: Christchurch Hours: Permanent part-time 15 hours per week
CCS Disability Action works to ensure disabled people are well connected in their local community and have a positive life. We are committed to the Treaty of Waitangi and EEO principles.
We have a vacancy in our Christchurch branch for a Personal Assistant. In this role, you will provide quality secretarial and administrative support to the Southern Region Disabled Leadership Coordinator. This role will involve supporting project work as well as ongoing administrative requirements
If you have:
Experience in a service delivery organisation
An understanding of the Disability Sector and ability to relate to disabled people in a positive affirming manner.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Efficient skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills
Previous experience in organising self, using time management techniques and determining priorities.
Resilience and are able to manage multiple tasks and work within short deadlines / timeframes.
Personal motivation for on-going personal development
Strong Customer Service focus
And are a Team player who establishes good rapport with colleagues and external stakeholders.
