ABOUT US: General Compression (GCL) is 100% New Zealand owned and operated specialist engineering company. We are market leaders in the sales, service and hire of compressed air equipment. GCL has 9 branches throughout New Zealand. In Christchurch we have a small but effective team and are dedicated to the work we do. You will also be working with team members located in both Tauranga and Auckland. THE ROLE: Permanent, part time (20hrs) office administration with the possibility of increased hours in the future. You will need to be a highly organised, adaptable administrator who is able to self manage and stay motivated, as well as be a team player. You will need to have a high level of administrative and computing skills, quick and accurate data entry, experience with Microsoft office, Excel and other computing applications. Experience in accounts receivable/payable is an advantage . DESCRIPTION: * Processing job cards in a timely order during the month * Invoicing all jobs before end of month * Obtaining supplier invoices * Contacting customers for purchase order numbers * Updating serviceable unit database * Liaising with service technicians and other branch staff * Supplying admin support for branch staff * Liaising with suppliers * Placing orders for jobs * Preparing monthly expenses * Emailing time sheets to Payroll weekly * Stock control * Carrying out monthly receivable tasks This role would be immediate start so if you would like to be a part of a small, New Zealand owned business then we would love to hear from you.
